Hegre Archives was founded by none other than Petter Hegre, the glamour photographer cum New Nude photographer. Rumour has it that after licensing much of his work to MET-ART, then known as Most Erotic Teens, he spotted an opportunity - to produce a site all of his own, in a manner not too dissimilar from MET-ART. In fact when you really compare the two, one can see how many of Hegre's "ideas" may have been inspired.

But in fairness, Hegre has produced an experience which is far more slick and stylish than that offered by MET, even if the content may be less exciting. For whilst the design values and navigability of Hegre Archives make it a friendly and approachable site, these qualities are largely cosmetic. Some of the models are adorned with fake breasts, some seem unable to offer much emotion in their expression.

However, Hegre does more than just churn out galleries of his wife Luba, as some critics will assure you. Membership to Hegre Archives includes Travel Reports from various parts of the world, where Petter photographs aspiring models, and full access to Fresh, an e-zine with articles and links on photo nudes and dating, as well as little biographies of some of his models.

Some of the models at Hegre Archives are extremely beautiful and that alone is reason to get a membership. The pictures come in three different sizes, the largest of which is 2000 pixels wide! So you'll find plenty of content to fill a high resolution LCD monitor. But don't worry if you have a small CTX monitor, as the smallest image size is a mere 600 pixels, which should fill your screen just nicely.
